For an annual VIP group who have seen and done it all, the client enlisted our DMC services to up the ante, including a signature event showcasing Chicago past and present, on the water and off.
Hotel or Venue:
The opening night dinner was held on-site at the hotel’s restaurant, but the menu was flown in fresh from Florida. Stone crab claws were the first catch of the season and flown in special for the event, giving guests the first taste of the delicacy outside of Florida.YOUR NEXT DESTINATION EVENT STARTS HERE
The first phase of the signature event was a cocktail river cruise aboard a luxury yacht that 360DG had to turn over completely in 1.5 hours. It was worth it, as the focus was a tour of Chicago’s famous architecture by boat, which the attendees loved.
After cocktails on the boat, guests entered one of Chicago’s top speakeasys known for housing the largest whiskey collection in the country for dinner and an after party. It had been prepped all day (everything but the chairs was swapped out), for the dinner prepared by celebrity chef CJ Jacobson (of Top Chef fame) and drinks by James Beard Award-winning mixologist Charles Joly.
Sometimes, you can look inside your own company for some fun décor ideas. Given the signature event’s retro speakeasy theme, we used actual client ads from the 1920s as décor. It added authenticity to the theme and was a fun reminder of the company’s stability to attendees.REQUEST YOUR CUSTOMIZED EVENT PROPOSAL
