The client’s initial request was two separate venues, one for the general session in the morning and one for the evening reception and dinner. We recommended a raw offsite event space to serve both purposes, saving them money and giving us blank-slate creativity – just with a 2.5-hour turnover!

Floors of “Wow”
While the corporate event venue switch was happening, guests were split into groups and sent out into NYC for three, uniquely-themed escape room challenges or a ping-pong tournament moderated by a professional ping-pong champion.
We knew we had to “bring it” to transform the same warehouse space into a wow-factor evening reception. An industrial chic-concrete jungle theme (including a digital graffiti wall) welcomed them back on the main floor. We decked out the roof with heaters and lounge vignettes to take in the New York skyline and discreetly slipped them tickets to access the ground floor speakeasy – with a surprise late night food truck!
The flexibility of a completely open space (like the industrial warehouse space we sourced) is perfect for pulling off multiple events in the same venue. It removes the need to design around features and allows you to pull off completely different themes – making you look like the hero by maximizing your budget!
