Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) Located 14 miles north of downtown Jacksonville and just over 20 to Amelia Island, JAX is home to 200 daily arrivals and departures from more than 15 major carriers, including American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, and United. By 2020, JAX plans to add a third concourse featuring 6 additional gates.
