360 Destination Group on Fire With New Hires

Irvine, California, June 23, 2021 – 360 Destination Group is adding talent across the nation! Get to know three of our newest hospitality heroes with fun and fascinating facts covering everything from industry insights to favorite tunes!

First up is Devin Drake, Account Executive in Santa Barbara & Ojai. She wants to make your biggest program dreams come true, and she may have two left feet, but she’s here for the beat.

What inspired you to pursue a career in hospitality? The excitement and joy I get from turning people’s wants and desires into reality.
What music moves you? Anything with a beat that I can (badly) dance to.
Aisle seat or window seat? Window, so I can sleep and look out when I arrive at my destination!
What are you currently reading? Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
What’s your favorite travel hack? Create shared photo albums at the start of your trip and share them with the people you’re traveling with. It is much easier than trying to send photos to people later.
What are you most looking forward to in 2021? Making any and every excuse to get out of my house, see people, and travel!
What’s the best advice you could give someone starting out in the events industry? Shadow others as much as you can. There is no better way to learn than by getting hands-on experience.
What’s your favorite board game? I like to stick with the classics – Monopoly.
Tell us about one of the coolest events you’ve ever been a part of. A 4-day wedding at a hotel that wasn’t officially open yet.
I love Santa Barbara because… it is one of the only places in the world where you can enjoy ocean and mountain views and perfect weather all year round.

Next up, and at the opposite end of the country, is Lina Cantillo, Account Executive in South Florida. When she’s not flawlessly operating your next program, you can find her playing Pictionary with her daughter!

What inspired you to pursue a career in hospitality? My love of travel. I couldn’t believe this was even an option!
What music moves you? Without fail, salsa music! I love to dance, and it is everywhere in Miami.
Aisle seat or window seat? Window, for sure. I love to look out at the sky and get excited to see where I am going.
What are you currently reading? Atomic Habits by James Clear.
What’s your favorite travel tip? I love visiting local supermarkets wherever I travel. It’s a great way to get a feel for how the people live. I often find we are so much more the same than different.
What are you most looking forward to in 2021? Getting back to normalcy. Buh-bye, COVID!
What’s the best advice you could give someone starting out in the events industry? Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty, and start at the bottom. There is so much to learn, plus it will make the climb that much sweeter.
What’s your favorite board game? I love playing Pictionary with my daughter. Though, I really need to improve my drawing skills…
Tell us about one of the coolest events you’ve ever been a part of. I organized the first-ever client reception on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. We were even able to ring the famous closing and opening bell. Though, it is less of a bell and more of a buzzer.
I love South FL because… of the diversity and flavors of the many cultures.

Also, in South Florida, we’re introducing Account Executive Emily Brown. This mystery-lover and problem-solver is here to execute your next program without a hitch in the destination she calls home.

What inspired you to pursue a career in events? Since I can remember, I would constantly re-arrange my childhood bedroom to reinvent the space. I love the small details that tie all the big elements together, whether a friend’s birthday, a family reunion, or a large national conference. Being around people and also helping a vision come to life is my love language.
Aisle seat or window seat? AISLE!
What are you currently reading? The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday.
What’s your favorite travel hack? You CAN fit it all in a carry-on. Packing cubes is key!
What’s the best advice you could give someone starting out in the events industry? Give yourself grace.
What’s your favorite board game? It’s a tie between CLUE and Sequence. They really play into my planning brain. I love solving a mystery and finding solutions.
I love South FL because… It’s home.
