We now find ourselves seeking a sales-driven, organized, and hospitality-oriented Director of Strategic Accounts to join our national Strategic Account Management team focusing on the West Coast and tech markets. As a member of our team, you’ll bring to life a variety of corporate events ranging from carnival-themed seminars to Latin nightclub receptions all while collaborating with professionals who are equally as passionate about creating memorable experiences as you!

As a DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS, you will be…

  • Generating qualified new business opportunities for all 360 Destination Group locations.
  • Identifying Strategic Partnership Opportunities in the way of preferred agreement and or MSA’s.
  • Attending/participating in weekly SAM team meeting, Account Executive Sales calls and annual internal 360DG sales meeting and provide regular updates on Sales efforts and achievements.
  • Generating and maintaining thorough CRM records including Sales Projects and Client Account, Contact, Opportunity and general information/notes.
  • Adhering to and being an advocate for HR and Accounting processes and procedures.
  • Being the key collaboration point between the customer and our destinations’ teams.
  • Representing our Brand systems and procedures to our customers.
  • Establishing realistic timelines and primary actions between customer and destination-specific teams.
  • Producing and maintaining annual Sales and Marketing Plan.
  • Meeting and or exceeding annual sales goal.
  • Entering and tracking all activity/leads in CRM in a timely manner.
  • Providing client and 360 Destination Group destination team support in the successful transition of each opportunity.
  • Representing 360 Destination Group by acting as a brand ambassador at tradeshows, sales trips, client site inspections and programs; collaborating/coordinating with Marketing team to develop and distribute marketing materials and social media efforts consistent with the brand strategy; providing one annual thought leadership blog.
  • Attending IMEX annually for duration of the event.
  • Creating, managing, and attending a minimum of 4 sales trips per year.
  • Additionally traveling for client meetings, programs and high-profile site inspections will be required when necessary, requested by client and/or Account Executive.
  • Attending annual internal 360DG sales meeting.
  • Attending 360DG SAM internal team meetings.
  • Supporting the vision, mission and guiding principles of 360DG.
  • Observing applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and guidelines. The use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
  • Attending and participate in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position.
  • Adhering to appropriate company operating procedures, benefit rules, employment, and safety policies/practices.

We are seeking someone with…

  • DMC experience or significant sales and meeting management expertise.
  • Ten plus years group sales experience within a successful direct sales organization.
  • A track record of success working with senior level executive level clients.
  • Impeccable oral and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • An ability to stay current with our services, as well as services offered by competition.
  • An ability to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and indifference and connects “need” with the company’s solution.
  • Knowledge of direct marketing sales and service, and the ability to provide an integrated solution to prospects and customers.
  • High levels of motivation and driven sales effort.
  • Effective relationship building skills.
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking and organization.
  • A strong sense of accountability and personal brand.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer and social media competency: MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook.
